Ever dreamed about living your life the way you wanted? How about even staying true to yourself?
I’m asking you these questions because you might have interests that you believe won’t be accepted…
…But, I’ll help you…
Not ONLY just by staying true to yourself, but to make sure you’re confident enough to stand out.
If you feel that being yourself is hard, then this is for you. So read on!
1. Remind yourself: You Are One of A Kind!
If I’ve said this once, I’ve said this a MILLION of times…
It’s ok to be different!
Don’t believe me? Ok…
See it like this – if everyone was the same, life would be pretty much boring. Wouldn’t it?
2. Have your own opinion!
Like everyone else, you are entitled to your own opinion. So own it!
If your friend disagrees with you, just agree to disagree.
3. Try not to compare yourself to others.
Even if that person is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS, you never know what’s going on in their life.
4. Do things YOU enjoy – Not what you SHOULD enjoy
Let’s say, you like FILAS. But you believe you should buy Air Forces, because they’re in trend…
I say, if you want them FILAS, rock them!
5. Do a list about yourself: your likes, dislikes and interests.
This could include your goals and dreams. It’s even better if you express these interests to anyone you know.
When you look at your list, tell yourself it’s ok to have these interests.
6. Surround yourself with positive energy.
Start hanging out with people that make YOU feel confident. It might mean making new friends with the same taste as you.
People who make you feel insecure, CUT THEM OFF!
7. Last but not least, compliment yourself EVERY DAY!
Step 1: Pick a quality or something about your appearance that you love.
Step 2: Stand in front of the mirror and give yourself 5 compliments.
Step 3: If you’re feeling low, remind yourself the quality you like about yourself. And think about it throughout the day.
Make yourself your no.1 priority. Being at peace with yourself is more important than others. And stay true to your value and beliefs.
